India’s love affair with IT has hit a huge roadblock. IT had changed the face of India. IT bought a lot of businesses in India. Hotel Industry saw its boom. Retail boomed. Transport saw its boom. Banking Industry saw its boom. Travel and Fashion saw its boom. And bang comes the Sathyam scam. The scam has serious implications on Business in India. Brand Hyderabad, the birthplace of Sathyam founder Ramalinga Raju, has hit a major hit. It has also hit the credibility of SEBI and its control over the Company affairs. It would be interesting to see how SEBI and Government handle the issues of the Investors, both in India and Internationally.
